About the Role
As part of the production crew, you'll be responsible for safely operating a range of heavy mining equipment while contributing to daily production targets. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, efficiency and safe operating practices are essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a range of production mining equipment, including Dozers, Graders and Haul Trucks
- Operating additional equipment such as Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators where required
- Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Reporting equipment faults and operational issues
- Following all site safety procedures and operational requirements
- Working closely with Supervisors and fellow operators to achieve production targets
- Maintaining equipment to a high standard through good housekeeping and operator care
About You To be successful, you'll have:
- Ample experience in a production mining environment
- Proven experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozers, and at least one of the following: Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators
- Relevant RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history
- A strong commitment to safe work practices
- The ability to work effectively within a team-focused production environment
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to meet all site access and pre-employment requirements
