HitCafe Meadowbrook is looking for a experience barista focusing on preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, operating espresso machines, and providing excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling payments.
Core Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, explain menu items, answer questions about coffee types and brewing methods, and handle payments accurately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized workstation, including cleaning equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies, and restock them as needed.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and different types of coffee.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
