We are seeking motivated students and recent school leavers who are planning a career in Allied Health, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or Disability.
This is a casual, entry-level Disability Support Worker role offering valuable hands-on experience working with NDIS participants in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
You will be working in a home-based setting (group homes or individual supports), assisting participants to build independence, develop life skills, and engage in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support participants with daily living activities and routines
- Assist with community access and social participation
- Observe and record behaviours and progress notes
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Support participants’ physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing
- Follow individual care plans and promote independence
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment at all times
About You
- Interested in a future career in health, disability, or community services
- Compassionate, reliable, and willing to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a home environment with participants
- Comfortable supporting individuals with diverse needs
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS MODULES and others as requested
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian work rights
- Driver’s licence (preferred)
