⭐ Early Childhood Teacher | Indooroopilly
We’re looking for a passionate and relationship‑focused Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Kindergarten program at Journey Early Learning Indooroopilly in a full‑time, Monday to Friday role .
This is a wonderful opportunity for an ECT who is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting school readiness, and building strong, genuine relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll lead a high‑quality Kindergarten program that supports children’s confidence, independence, and transition to school. You’ll create a warm, engaging learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
Working alongside a supportive leadership team, you’ll focus on play‑based learning, intentional teaching, and building strong connections within your community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high‑quality Kindergarten program aligned with the EYLF
Support children’s school readiness through intentional, play‑based learning
Create a warm, inclusive environment that fosters confidence and independence
Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and your team
Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning and development
Contribute to a collaborative and positive team culture
Maintain high standards of safety and compliance
About You
ACECQA‑approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification (Bachelor, Master, or Grad Dip)
Must have completed National Child Safety Training
Experience in a Kindergarten or school readiness program
Strong understanding of EYLF and transition to school practices
Warm, nurturing, and relationship‑driven teaching style
Confident communicator who builds strong family partnerships
Passionate about creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
