We're looking for an experienced Fundraising & Donor Engagement Specialist who has a proven track record in acquiring new regular donors and reactivating lapsed supporters through professional outbound telephone fundraising.
This is not a general customer service or inbound contact centre role. We're seeking someone who understands donor psychology, builds trust quickly and consistently delivers exceptional fundraising outcomes with integrity.
About the Role
As part of our fundraising team, you'll play a vital role in helping grow long-term support for Australia's leading charities by:
- Acquiring new Regular Giving donors.
- Re-engaging and reactivating previous supporters.
- Building genuine relationships through meaningful conversations.
- Identifying donor motivations and inspiring ongoing support.
- Professionally handling objections and questions.
- Achieving quality, compliance and performance KPIs.
- Maintaining accurate donor records using CRM systems.
- Representing our charity partners with professionalism, empathy and integrity.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people and has the confidence to create engaging conversations that lead to positive outcomes.
Highly Regarded Experience
- Previous experience in outbound fundraising for Australian charities.
- Demonstrated success in donor acquisition campaigns.
- Experience reactivating lapsed donors.
- Experience promoting Regular Giving programs.
- Strong objection handling and relationship-building skills.
- A proven history of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- High attention to detail and strong CRM skills.
- Experience within a specialist fundraising agency.
- Remote fundraising experience.
- Knowledge of Australian fundraising compliance and best practice.
