Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Heidelberg, Australia on a permanent full-time basis. You'll work on a rotating roster, including weekends, in a dynamic and supportive pharmacy environment. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our pharmacist to deliver safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing services—ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and support. Assist with the accurate dispensing and preparation of medications according to prescriptions and pharmaceutical standards

Process prescriptions efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Maintain current knowledge of PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme) requirements and regulatory compliance

Verify medication information, dosages, and potential drug interactions to ensure patient safety

Provide outstanding, patient-focused service by addressing customer inquiries with empathy and professionalism

Organize and maintain pharmacy inventory, including stock rotation and expiration date management
Desirable Qualifications:

Certificate II in Community Pharmacy (S2/S3 highly regarded)

Proven experience in medication dispensing and prescription processing

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, interactions, and contraindications

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment

Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare professionals

Flexibility, reliability, and willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
