What you will be doing:
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive acquisition strategy that aligns with organisational goals and government housing priorities.
Design and embed a prioritisation framework to assess and rank acquisition opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Set annual acquisition targets and performance measures, ensuring progress is tracked, reported, and used to inform continuous improvement.
Integrate the acquisition strategy with other housing delivery channels , including redevelopment programs, community housing provider partnerships, and mixed-delivery models , to maximise total housing supply.
Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and sector partners to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and accelerate delivery.
Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on market trends, policy changes, and emerging opportunities in the housing sector
Prepare and where required present submissions, briefs, reports and correspondence of a complex nature
Actively contribute to an organisational culture that encourages the developmen and maintenance of internal and external client relationships and networks to facilitate strategic alliances and minimise barriers.
