About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time / Casual Food Services Assistant to join our team!
This role is perfect for someone who is confident, proactive, and takes pride in getting the job done to a high standard. You will play a key role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring residents receive quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Availability Requirements (Casuals ONLY):
This is a casual position, however applicants must:

Be available to work at least 3 days per week

Be flexible across morning, afternoon, and night shifts

Be willing to work occasional weekend shifts (very rare, but required when needed)

Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist with meal preparation and food plating
-
Serve meals and beverages to residents
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining environment
-
Follow food safety and infection control procedures
-
Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff
About You:

Confident, reliable, and able to work efficiently

Strong work ethic with a “get it done” attitude

Team player with a positive approach

Good communication and time management skills

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Food Safety Certificate (Required)
-
Experience in hospitality or aged care (1+ year preferred)

Certificate II/III in Hospitality or similar (desirable)

Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
Requirements:
