Anytime Fitness has taken the Australian franchise sector by storm over the last 18 years and now spans a portfolio of over 600+ gyms and more than 730,000+ members nationally, making it the largest gym network in the country. Our purpose is simple yet powerful: to inspire healthier lives. Our passionate team brings this mission to life every day by creating inclusive, welcoming fitness communities where people can thrive.
Reporting directly to a Director of Collective Wellness Group (CWG), you'll support a diverse portfolio of investments and commercial activities across Collective Wellness Group, including Anytime Fitness Australia and UK, and other private business interests.
Please note: While this role is being advertised through the Anytime Fitness brand, this position sits outside the Anytime Fitness Support Office.
No two weeks will be the same. You'll work directly with an experienced Commercial Lawyer, Investor and Company Director across a diverse portfolio of businesses, gaining exposure to strategy, investments, business operations, governance and commercial decision-making from day one.
This role is ideally suited to an outstanding graduate or early-career professional looking to fast-track their commercial development through genuine hands-on experience.
If you're intellectually curious, commercially minded and looking to accelerate your career, this is a rare opportunity to develop skills and experience that would typically take many years to acquire in a traditional analyst role.
- Analysing financial and operational information to support commercial decision-making.
- Preparing business cases, reports, presentations and commercial recommendations.
- Supporting financial modelling, commercial analysis and strategic projects.
- Coordinating projects across multiple businesses and stakeholders.
- Researching industries, businesses, commercial issues and investment opportunities.
- Supporting commercial due diligence for acquisitions, investments and strategic opportunities.
- Assisting with the oversight and operations of existing portfolio businesses and assets.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Liaising with government agencies and external stakeholders, including professional advisor firms.
- Providing commercial, financial and administrative support across multiple organisations.
- Handling highly confidential commercial, financial and legal information with absolute discretion.
- Coordinating commercial administrative tasks as directed to support the ongoing operations of multiple organisations.
We're far more interested in your potential than the number of years on your CV.
You might be an outstanding recent graduate, an analyst early in your career, a junior lawyer or accountant, or someone looking to broaden your commercial experience.
You'll likely bring:
-
Strong analytical capability and intellectual curiosity.
- A genuine interest in business, strategy and commercial decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with numbers and financial information.
- Initiative, sound judgement and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications in commerce, finance, business, economics, law or accounting are desirable, but not essential. Intelligence, curiosity, judgement and attitude are far more important than qualifications or experience.
This is a rare opportunity to build a broad commercial skill set while working directly with an experienced commercial leader across a diverse portfolio of businesses.
You'll gain exposure to strategic decisions, investment opportunities, governance, acquisitions and commercial problem solving that most early-career professionals simply don't experience.
If you're ambitious, love learning and want to accelerate your career, we'd love to hear from you.
The Perks:
-
Predominantly work-from-home arrangement and regular in-person collaboration.
- Two wellness leave days
- An annual wellness allowance.
- Birthday Leave
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume along with a short cover letter telling us why you're interested in the role.
