Every appointment you coordinate and every patient you assist helps ensure timely access to quality healthcare.
About the Team
The Outpatient Centre Administration team is at the heart of a busy outpatient service, providing essential support across a high volume of specialist clinics. Working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams, we coordinate appointments, manage referrals and ensure patients receive a seamless experience throughout their healthcare journey.
Our team is collaborative, supportive and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We take pride in creating a welcoming environment for patients, families and carers while ensuring our clinicians have the administrative support they need to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
About the Role
As an Administration Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for many patients, providing professional and compassionate customer service over the phone, via email and in person. You'll play a vital role in ensuring outpatient clinics run efficiently by coordinating appointments and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the service.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating both face-to-face and Telehealth clinics.
- Providing high-quality customer service to patients, carers and healthcare providers.
- Processing billing and supporting the efficient delivery of outpatient services.
- Working collaboratively with clinicians and administration colleagues to ensure smooth clinic operations.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About You
You're a motivated administration professional who enjoys helping people and thrives in a busy outpatient setting. You bring a positive attitude, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
You'll also have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- A patient-centred mindset with a genuine commitment to providing compassionate service.
Support and Development
From day one, you'll be supported by the Outpatient Centre Administration Manager and an experienced administration team who are committed to helping you succeed.
