Childcare Traineeship – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
We are currently seeking motivated, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Trainee Educators to join our teams across the North Shore and Northern Beaches. This is an exciting opportunity to start a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education while studying towards your Certificate III qualification and earning an income at the same time.
No previous experience is required—just a positive attitude, a genuine passion for working with children, and a willingness to learn and grow. You'll be supported by experienced educators as you develop valuable skills and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children every day.

- Free nationally recognised qualification – your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (CHC30125) is fully funded under the NSW Government's Smart and Skilled fee-free traineeship initiative. No course fees for eligible new entrant trainees.*
- Government incentive payment for you – early childhood education is a priority occupation, so as a trainee you may be eligible to receive up to $2,500 in Australian Government incentive payments, paid directly to you over the course of your traineeship.*
About the Role
- Full-time and Part-time traineeship positions available
- Study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Work alongside experienced educators in a supportive environment
- Assist in providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment for child
Requirements
- Genuine interest in working with children
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to study and complete traineeship requirements
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willing to obtain before commencement
- Current First Aid/CPR (preferred but not essential)
- Current police check or willing to obtain before commencement
- Must be able to work shifts between the hours of 07:00am - 6:00pm
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents or hold a Humanitarian Visa
- Unfortunately, other visa holders are not eligible for this position
- Fee-free funding applies to eligible new entrant trainees; eligibility is confirmed at enrolment
