Your new role:
As Assistant Business Manager, you will provide proactive business management advice and support to help Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services achieve its operational and strategic priorities. You will:
Support financial and business management activities, including budgets, monthly reporting, expenditure, FTE and activity analysis.
Provide advice on financial impacts, business performance, procurement, expenditure and establishment changes to support informed decision-making.
Contribute to business planning, economic feasibility assessments and the development of well-documented business cases for future initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the Business Manager, Finance Manager and divisional teams, while supporting assets, facilities, purchasing, accounts payable and reporting activities.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated business management professional who can combine analytical capability with strong communication and relationship-building skills. You have:
Demonstrable developing skills in business management within a large, complex and multidisciplinary organisation.
Developing analytical and reporting capability, with the ability to interpret information and support business performance.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively, with knowledge of contemporary HR practices including workplace health and safety, employment equity and anti-discrimination
