The Role
Join David Jones as a full-time ER Advisor in our People Workplace Relations & Advisory team, working hybrid in our CBD offices. You'll provide expert guidance on employment relations matters while supporting our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
What You'll Do
- Provide practical advice on employment law, workplace policies, and industrial relations matters
- Support managers and employees through workplace investigations and conflict resolution
- Partner with leaders across the business to navigate complex people challenges
- Develop and deliver training programs on workplace relations topics
- Contribute to policy development and review processes
- Assist with enterprise agreement interpretation and compliance
What We're Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Human Resources, or Industrial Relations
- Proven experience in employment relations, workplace investigations, or similar advisory role
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical solutions
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive situations
- Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management abilities
