We're looking for an organised, proactive and personable Office Administrator / Office Manager to become an integral part of our team. This is a varied role that requires someone who enjoys multitasking, communicating with a wide range of people, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Following an initial training period located in Cobbitty 2570 (approximately four weeks, depending on the successful applicant's experience and training needs), the role will transition to working from home. Once established, you'll become the primary point of contact for the office, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and being trusted to keep the business running smoothly.
About the Role
Working closely with the Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the business and supporting our team of installers. This is a key role within the business, requiring someone who is proactive, highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring the office runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Logging completed jobs into our job management system
- Preparing and issuing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Preparing and issuing completion certificates
- Processing remittances and general accounts administration
- Liaising with contractors, supervisors, clients and the general public
- Responding to phone and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Coordinating the daily schedules of our installers
- Providing administrative support to the Director as required
- General office administration to ensure the smooth running of the business
About You
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administration, office management or office support role (experience within a trade or service industry is highly regarded)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional, friendly and customer-focused approach
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the office
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Basic bookkeeping or accounts administration experience
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- A reliable, proactive and self-motivated attitude
What We Offer
- Salary of $85,000 pro rata (equivalent full-time salary)
- Permanent part-time role (3 days per week) Monday - Wednesday
