Plumbing Projects – Senior Overseer

Location – Windsor, Sydney, with travel to NSW project sites as required
Employment type – Ongoing, Full time 5 Day Shift Work
Salary – $108,197 pa, + Incidental Allowance + Leave Loading + Superannuation +Living Away from Home Allowance
Your role
This role leads and mentor’s inmates in a structured workplace environment. You'll oversee daily operations to deliver safe, productive and high-quality outcomes while supervising and helping inmates build practical skills and improve their employment prospects after release.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Overseer you'll lead a project delivery team, applying your construction and plumbing leadership experience to deliver safe, high-quality and efficient work outcomes.
You'll plan and coordinate daily operations and coach inmates in practical workplace skills within a real work environment. You'll also manage resources, ensure WHS compliance, monitor quality and productivity, and contribute to rehabilitation outcomes that help inmates prepare for employment after release.
You'll join a supportive team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where safety, teamwork and strong leadership are essential.
What we’re looking for
We're seeking an experienced plumbing professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety, quality and team development. You'll bring:
A relevant Plumbing and Drainage trade qualification
Supervisor or Contractor licence in Plumbing
Proven post-trade experience managing construction/plumbing projects, worksites or operational teams.
The ability to coach, mentor and develop others while achieving operational outcomes.
Flexibility to work across a range of trades and projects as required.
A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel and work away from home regularly, including at short notice and for extended periods.
A current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to obtain.
