Job Description:
As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll support our kitchen team with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and assisting during busy service periods. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, cookware, and utensils
- Assisting with basic food prep (chopping, portioning, organising ingredients)
- Keeping kitchen surfaces clean and sanitised
- Disposing of waste and recycling correctly
- Supporting chefs during busy service
- Maintaining stock and supply levels for kitchen needs
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred (not essential)
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Availability for shifts across weekdays and weekends
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- Legal working rights in Australia
