Manager, Operations Support WA
The Role
Silver Chain are seeking a Manager, Operations Support to join the Operations Support WA team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be responsible for the day to day leadership of the Administration teams (Inclusive of Team Leads) for both Aged Community Care and Health. Your team is based across metro and country locations (of which will be managed remotely)
Supporting your team, who work between the hours of 7am – 5pm, this role is Osborne Park based with some flexibility offered to work from home. Some ad hoc travel will be required within WA.
This is a critical role, in a dynamic and growing team. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Operations Support and operational leaders, in being responsible for the continuous improvement of systems and processes that enable service delivery excellence across the State.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of Operations Support to understand service need and provide an agile and responsive service to the state.
- Lead and facilitate a range of operational support activities within the state, such as site/client/employee administration, document control standards, fleet coordination, consumable management, and property management.
- Lead the administration teams, enabling service delivery across Western Australia. This will include the provision of coaching, development, guidance & quality assurance to the team.
- Use business insights, analytical skills and creativity to lead on quality assurance activities, identifying and developing operational improvement initiatives in Western Australia
- Identify opportunities for increased integration of health and aged care services, enabling streamlining of processes, increasing productivity, and enhancing the administration function within the state.
- Collaborate with the broader Operations Support team and state leadership team to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in administration management and process improvement functions is essential.
- A relevant tertiary or post graduate qualification would be highly advantageous
- Health and Community Care experience is desirable
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing people
- Demonstrated time management and organisational abilities to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills, to identify risk and make recommendations for solutions and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and participating in project groups to support successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience dealing with sensitive information.
- Well-developed communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Demonstrated computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation and calendar management software in order to prepare correspondence and effective documentation and presentations
