The opportunity:

Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey of our defence force members and veterans from rehab to healing

Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments

Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the defence force member who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers

Depending on your location you may support veterans in the Gold Coast and / or Sunshine Coast region or current members in the beautiful setting of the Kokoda Barracks in Canungra

What will make you successful:

Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, AASW, ASORC/RCAA)

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Nursing

Occupational Rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded

Clinical reasoning

Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal

Passion to help people rehabilitate
