The Role
Objectives:
- Co-ordinate the administrative function of the housekeeping department
- Attend to phone and handle requests as required
- Perform these objectives in a manner without risk to health and safety
Position Tasks:

Coordinate administrative support to all areas of the Housekeeping department

Work closely with all departments within the Rooms Division, including front office, laundry and maintenance, communicating regular updates and changes

Oversee the daily operation of the Housekeeping office

Maintain all employee records within the Housekeeping department

Maintain the security of all room keys, Optii iPad/devices and locks

Ensure all guest requests and communicated and actioned in a timely manner

Ensure housekeeping guest amenities and supplies are well stocked, and that stock-takes are completed efficiently and accurately

Actively participate in an environment of learning, enjoyment and involvement

To have positive involvement and interaction with the overall Housekeeping team at an individual and entire team level.

Comply with all company policies, systems and procedures.

To be fully conversant in manual procedures to be used in the event of the hotel systems being offline

Maintain current knowledge of the Client's products and services such as Hotel facilities, room set up, to assist with guest inquiries and an understanding of the service offerings available across the Hotel

Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety procedures within the hotel, understand how to complete an incident/accident report and who to contact in the event of an emergency and/or incident

Motivate colleagues and create a team environment through living a positive approach to teamwork.

Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper of Assistant Housekeeping Manager/2IC.
