Peach Café is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our small, close-knit kitchen team.
We're searching for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their section, can work independently, and takes genuine pride in producing consistently high-quality food. This is a hands-on role in a busy café, so we're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

About the Role
Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast and lunch service Working independently and confidently during service Supporting the Head Chef with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation Maintaining HACCP food safety standards Training and mentoring junior staff where required Helping maintain a clean, organised and positive kitchen
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Chef de Partie ready to step up Can confidently work independently without needing constant supervision Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working as part of a small team Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in turning up ready to work every day Remains calm and organised during busy services Has excellent food safety and hygiene practices Holds full working rights in Australia
