The Role
At Grand Hyatt Melbourne, we offer an array of dining options to suit every guest's dining needs. Collins Kitchen celebrates the art of cooking over smoke and flame, showcasing the finest locally sourced produce. We have reimagined the classic Australian Barbecue to create an unforgettable dining experience: think premium grilled meats.
In this role you will join an energetic and passionate team in Collins Kitchen who make the difference to dining experiences in our renowned hotel restaurant. You will add value to our guest's stay by preparing an array of beverages including cocktails and coffees and assisting the food and beverage team in the efficient running of day to day operations.
Day to Day
- To meet and greet all guests arriving and departing the restaurant
- To provide personalised service in intimate settings
- Preparing Coffees, Cocktails and all other beverage orders in the restaurant
- To be able to work in a dynamic team
- Have exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Superior customer service skills along with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to create a positive first impression
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends, night shifts and public holidays
- To assist with other areas of Food & Beverage division as the business requires
