Designed by Child Psychologist, Robyn Taylor, the centre places particular emphasis on developing children cognitively, emotionally and behaviourally.
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to manage our pre-school room, which has a maximum of 20 children.
Responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Early Childhood Teacher
- Current First Aid certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to undertake).
- Cleared Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Confidence and ability to lead a group of children and Educators in running the room.
- Implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups, in consultation with the Assistant Director/Director and Educational Leader.
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children.
- Ensure that records are maintained accurately for each child in their care.
- Develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines.
- Ensure that the centre or service’s policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Support the day to day operation of the service.
- Supervise students on placement, as directed by the Director.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework including the National Quality Standards and Early Education and Care Services Regulations.
- Participate in the National Quality Standards Process.
- Current Child Protection Training, or willingness to undertake training.
- Eagerness to participate in professional development as required.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work and support a team environment.
- Ability to mentor, lead and guide other Educators.
- Ability to work with Psychologist and other professionals in relation to a child's needs / development.
- Ability to be creative and innovative in implementing all programs and planned experiences.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
