Cyber Security Analyst

ITSCOPE is expanding its cybersecurity and managed technology services capability and is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing team.
ITSCOPE delivers technology projects, infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft services, cybersecurity, managed IT and digital solutions to small businesses through to medium and large enterprise customers.
This role will work across both internal environments and external client engagements, supporting cybersecurity assessments, security improvements, Microsoft security, endpoint protection and ongoing security operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform cybersecurity reviews and security assessments.
· Identify vulnerabilities, risks and configuration weaknesses.
· Assist with Microsoft 365 security configuration.
· Implement and review MFA and Conditional Access.
· Assist with Microsoft Intune and endpoint security.
· Support endpoint detection and response solutions.
· Review user access, permissions and privileged accounts.
· Assist with security incident investigation and response.
· Support vulnerability and patch-management activities.
· Review backup, disaster recovery and resilience controls.
· Assist with cybersecurity documentation and reporting.
· Support client security improvement programs.
· Assist with cybersecurity consulting engagements.
· Work with infrastructure, project and managed-services teams.
· Provide practical security recommendations to customers.
Skills & Experience
We are interested in candidates with experience across some of the following:
· Microsoft 365 security
· Microsoft Defender
· Microsoft Intune
· Azure / Entra ID
· MFA and Conditional Access
· Endpoint security
· Vulnerability management
· Firewalls and network security
· Security monitoring
· Incident response
· Backup and disaster recovery
· Cybersecurity frameworks and controls
Experience with frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001 or NIST would be advantageous. Relevant cybersecurity qualifications or certifications are desirable, but practical experience and capability are equally important.
