About the Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading electrical services organisation with branches across Australia and a reputation for delivering innovative electrical, infrastructure, maintenance, and engineering solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled HV Technician – Testing & Commissioning to join their Sydney team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and commissioning of high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Conduct fault finding, diagnostic testing, and system analysis.
- Test, commission, and maintain protection systems and associated equipment.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, site procedures, and safety regulations.
- Travel to customer sites and project locations as required.
- Liaise with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Current Electrical Licence.
- Proven experience in HV testing and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of protection relays, transformers, switchgear, and high-voltage systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour

Education:
- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
- • Proven experience in HV testing and commissioning: 5 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Electrical Licence (Preferred)
