We are looking for a Web/Applications developer to contribute to enhancing the user experience of our worldwide customer base. You will be responsible for maintaining our website and internal applications. This is a full-time position based in our Sydney office located in Wetherill Park NSW.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications features
- Prioritize software development projects, set timelines and assign tasks to team members
- Create wireframes to help decide on layout(s)
- Write or review code for various applications
- Run functionality testing / load test and debug code Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons)
- Maintain webstore and website optimisation, mobile-responsiveness
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of proven industry experience in web development experience
- Solid understanding of Typescipt, React, CSS, HTML and PHP
- Proficient in Typescript, CSS, React and Nodejs
- OOP (Object-oriented) programming model understanding
- Ability to work with containerised environments
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, like AWS
- Knowledge of Flutter / React Native is a bonus
- PHP and Adobe Commerce (Magento) knowledge is a bonus
- Writing, running and setting up unit tests on CI pipelines
- Linux / MacOS command line skill – Basic to Intermediate
- Version control systems: Experience with Git or BitBucket version control systems to manage source code efficiently, collaborate with team members, and track changes.
- API integration (using 3rd party) and creation of API / endpoints for internal and external use
- Optimisation skills for code new and existing as required and
- Testing and debugging: Knowledge of testing methodologies, unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Pytest), and debugging techniques to identify and fix software bugs and ensure the stability of web applications.
- Understanding of MySQL Databases, Write querys handling selects and inserts, updates, deletes
- Produce Documentation for created systems
- Back-end development: Deep understanding of server-side development, including database management, server architecture, and RESTful API design.
- Continuous learning: A passion for staying updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices, and a willingness to continuously learn and improve your skills.
- Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts, collaborate with team members, and document project requirements, codebase, and technical decisions

- Having automotive experience will help with understanding the application
- Knowledge of NetSuite
