We are a motivated and reliable Services Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting the smooth daily operations of the Burra Hospital. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to a clean, safe and welcoming environment while assisting with catering, cleaning and housekeeping services that directly support patient care.
Role Summary
As a Services Assistant, you will:
- Assist with meal preparation, service and delivery, including breakfast, soups and light meals
- Undertake general cleaning duties, including high window cleaning and carpet shampooing
- Support laundry services, including washing, folding, ironing and linen distribution
- Ensure timely and accurate meal plating and delivery, including meeting dietary requirements
- Assist with minor sewing repairs and basic stock recording
On the job training will be provided for suitable candidates.

- Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with safety standards
- Commitment to providing a high standard of service to clients and staff

This is a part time vacancy, working 64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
