Support Worker role - Mount Tambourine

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our team and provide meaningful assistance to a participant based in Mount Tambourine. This role involves supporting a participant with mental health needs, offering light domestic care, and assisting with daily routines to foster their independence and enhance their quality of life. The position requires working Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, starting immediately, with the potential for increased hours once the support worker and participant have established a comfortable and trusting relationship.
The participant has expressed a preference for a female support worker to ensure their comfort and trust, which are essential for effective support. However, we welcome applications from all qualified candidates. The successful applicant will be selected based on their ability to build a positive relationship with the participant and provide high-quality, dignified support.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the participant with daily routines at home and in the community
- Assist with light domestic care tasks
- Help build life skills, confidence, and social connections
- Encourage independence in everyday life
- Provide companionship, transport, and practical assistance

Requirements:
- Current Police Check
- Valid 100 points of identification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Yellow Card
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Drivers License
