Casual Gardener & Outdoor All-Rounder – 2 Days Per Week

Looking for a practical, reliable person who enjoys hands-on outdoor work.
I’m a sole trader operating in Bardon, providing gardening and outdoor maintenance services to local clients. Over the past few years, I’ve been supporting residential properties with garden, lawn, and general outdoor upkeep. The work is hands-on, varied, and tailored to each client’s needs.
I’m looking for a reliable offsider to assist as the business continues to grow.
This would suit someone who is practical, physically capable, good with their hands and comfortable using tools and outdoor equipment. Trade or landscaping experience is great, but it’s not essential — a good attitude and some hands-on experience are more important.
About the role:
- Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm (approx.), 2 days per week (occasionally more on offer)
- Preferred days: Monday–Wednesday (flexible)
- Start times/days can be adjusted – we can reschedule around you when needed
- Work is weather-dependent, so flexibility is very important
- Mostly outdoor and practical work, with tasks varying day to day
- Preferred start date: ASAP
What we’re looking for:
- Local to Ashgrove/Bardon or surrounding areas (preferred)
- Manual Driver's License, and confidence driving manual (mandatory)
- Physically capable and comfortable with active work/working in the heat
- Experience with powered tools and equipment (whipper snippers, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers)
- Practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
- National Police Check (required)
- Pre-Employment Medical (required)
