About The Role
Location: Ashwood, VIC
Roster: Mon, Tue, Wed & Sat: 7:00am - 2:00pm
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join our team in Ashwood. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
- Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
- Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
- Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Experience in contract catering or aged care (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Professional presentation and positive work ethic
Requirements
- Current flu vaccination
- National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
