As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, Victoria. The successful applicant will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and repairing a variety of metal products and structures while ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
- Measure, mark and prepare metal materials for fabrication.
- Cut, shape and form metal using fabrication equipment.
- Assemble and fabricate metal components and structures.
- Perform MIG, TIG and Arc welding where required.
- Grind, finish and prepare fabricated products.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate workshop machinery and fabrication tools safely.
- Carry out repairs and modifications to metal products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Work effectively with supervisors and other team members.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Metal Fabricator or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years' relevant industry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience using fabrication machinery and welding equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
