About the Role
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker to assist our client located in Springfield. The successful candidate will provide person-centered care and support to help our client live independently, safely, and comfortably in their own home and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with meal preparation
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with community access and transportation to appointments or activities
- Promote independence and wellbeing through active engagement and companionship
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports
- Follow care plans and uphold confidentiality, dignity, and respect at all times
Essential Criteria
- Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain one)
- Blue Card
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, patient, and committed to high-quality care
- Police checks
Desirable
- Previous experience supporting clients with disability, mental health, or aged care needs
- Manual handling training and understanding of person-centred approaches
