Oral Health Therapist – Orthodontics (Permanent Part-Time) Bentleigh. Vic.
2 days per week Monday & Wednesday ~ 16 hours

About the Role
Working closely with our Specialist Orthodontist, you will play an important role throughout the patient's orthodontic journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking radiographs including OPG, lateral cephalometric and CBCT imaging (training provided if required) and occasional iTero digital scans, clinical photographs
- Assisting with placement and removal of fixed appliances and the placement of bonded retainers
- Supporting clear aligner treatment, including IPR, attachment placement and removal
- Monitoring orthodontic treatment progress including braces adjustments, clear aligner checks, and retainer checks
- Providing oral hygiene instruction and patient education ensuring patient compliance
- Supporting the Orthodontist with Phase 1 treatment, retainers and retention, minor orthodontic concerns and emergency appointments such as broken brackets and adjusting arch wires
- Maintaining accurate treatment notes and clinical records
- Ensuring high standards of infection control and patient care
- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Registered with AHPRA as an Oral Health Therapist
- Radiation Licence with Den4 or Den5 is a bonus but not essential
- Working with Children Check
- Friendly and passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
- An excellent communicator with a positive attitude
- Organised, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment with attention to detail
- A strong team player
- Eager to learn and develop new clinical skills
- Previous orthodontic experience is welcomed but not essential.
