We are looking for casual support workers to join our team to help provide culturally secure NDIS services and specialised support for Young People in our community of Ipswich QLD. This role may require availability for afternoons, evenings, and overnights, with potential for weekends in future. This opportunity involves:
- Provide individual/s involved with direct support and compassion. Working in a safe, trauma aware - healing focused framework.
- Work closely with local service providers to ensure a strong multi-agency responses.
- Collaborate with a team of workers and the ability to work autonomously.
- Accurately complete incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers where required.
- Being at the center of a participant's journey acting as a service navigator and key conduit for information sharing.

Prerequisite
- Qualifications in human, community or health services - minimum Cert III in Individual Support.
- Proficient, clear, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Current First Aid, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain, also Police Check.
- Current Australian full Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle with insurance.
