Join a well-established and growing construction business delivering residential insurance and roofing projects across the southern Gold Coast region.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to manage your own portfolio of projects, coordinate trades, keep clients informed, and ensure jobs are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The work is predominantly residential, so you’ll be dealing with homeowners and smaller-scale projects rather than large commercial sites.
We’re open to candidates from either an insurance building background or a roofing / plumbing background. If you’ve got strong project coordination skills, can manage multiple jobs at once, and take pride in delivering a great customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll bring
- Experience as a Supervisor, Project Manager, Site Supervisor (or similar) within residential construction
- Background in insurance repairs, roofing, restoration, or residential building
- Ability to manage trades, schedules, and project timelines effectively
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence to make decisions and solve problems on the go
Experience & qualifications required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or project management role
- Residential construction experience is essential
- Insurance building or roofing experience highly regarded
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site safety requirements
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a supportive team
Key responsibilities
- Oversee residential insurance and roofing projects from start to finish
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Conduct site visits and monitor project progress
- Communicate regularly with homeowners and key stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Maintain project records and provide consistent updates throughout the build process
