What we’re looking for:
We are currently growing and looking for the next great Physiotherapist to join our expanding team and service our wonderful clients across greater Hobart, Tasmania 7000.
Providing quality Physiotherapy services within Aged Care Facilities, as well as the potential for HCP and NDIS community visits, you will deliver impactful, quality-of-life enhancing services and make a real difference in client’s lives. What you’ll be doing:
Working with Our Physio Co, you’ll provide Physiotherapy services including:
Provide physiotherapy services to aged care residents with a range of health conditions of musculosketal, orthopaedic, neurological, and cardiorespiratory origin.
Assess client needs and design appropriate client centered, evidence-based treatment plans to help them achieve their goals
Complete falls assessments and implement falls prevention measures to optimise client safety
Complete functional assessments and provide manual handling and care advice to clinical and care teams
Advocate on behalf of your client with key stakeholders and government bodies
Complete equipment assessments and prescribe equipment to assist clients
Be an effective and proactive member of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the holistic wellbeing of clients
The successful candidate:
About you
Have a passion for helping the elderly to thrive
Must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Physiotherapy
Must hold full AHPRA(Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) Registration
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Current Police Check
Driver’s License and flexibility to work between different sites
Flexibility to work between different sites.
Strong communication skills in order develop positive relationships with clients and colleagues
A commitment and dedication to clinical research and continuous development
