About the Role
We're on the lookout for a vibrant, confident individual to become part of the Happy Feet Fitness family. As one of our superstar Cover Instructors, you'll bring joy, movement, and imagination to life for children aged 0–5 in childcare centres, covering classes when our regular Instructors are unavailable.
This is a fun, flexible contractor position -perfect for performers, dancers, educators or anyone who loves working with children and wants to make a real impact.
This role covers for instructors who have classes around Brisbane CBD and the inner suburbs, so you must be willing to travel in this region. The more flexible you are around work locations, the more work you will likely get! Ideally you will be located within a 20 minute drive of the CBD.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering fun, structured 30-minute classes using music, dance, movement and imaginative play
- Performing in character (yes, costumes are provided!)
- Engaging with children and educators in a warm, professional way
- Working school-friendly hours on weekdays only
- Bringing energy and creativity into every session!
What You’ll Need
- A contractor mindset – this is a self-managed role, paid for each class delivered (not an employee role)
- Experience in dance, fitness, drama, or early childhood education
- Confidence, creativity, and strong communication skills
- Blue Card, First Aid Certificate, and an ABN (essential)
- A reliable car to transport props and equipment
- Permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions
- 18 + only for supervision and insurance purposes
- Must be available at least 3 weekdays during school hours
