The pay-rate for the role will range from $42.15-$44.24/hr depending on your experience.
The role will be flexible in work times in regard to business hours between Monday-Friday .
About the role:
We are seeking a full - time/part-time permanent passionate and skilled Allied Health Lead - Advanced Practice to join our Eight Mile Plains service to provide quality allied health services to Anglicare clients and actively participate in the Anglicare Allied Health program to promote teamwork, clinical leadership and the specialist quality service. The role will be able to demonstrate significant clinical experience in a wide range of practice areas and will be a combination senior lead with leading allied health team members as well as doing client case load.
- Provide the first point of significant contact for the client with the intent of building client trust and confidence in Anglicare to facilitate Consumer Directed Care.
- Undertake home visit to deliver a consumer induction; gather information to identify and understand the client’s needs and preferences, establish or meet goals and aspirations, and assess/monitor the client’s capacity and interest in the control of their package.
- Implement the client’s Agreement to ensure it remains relevant and current and is in line with
- Anglicare requirements for home and/or disability package guidelines.
- Build collaborative relationships with clients, family, carers and significant others.
- Act as the client’s primary contact for all matters relating to delivery of services.
- Maintain a client-centered approach in all engagements with clients.
About you:
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge in relevant to focused area of practice within a community setting.
- Demonstrated ability to independently apply professional knowledge and judgements when performing complex or atypical tasks specific to focused area of practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a community based multidisciplinary team environment, including the capacity to negotiate with a range of stakeholders, operate flexibly, and have the capacity to problem solve.
- Demonstrated advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Demonstrated well-developed organisational and planning skills in managing competing priorities in a busy environment to achieve high quality work outcomes.
- An advanced level understanding of and demonstrated active participation in continuous quality improvement processes in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and supervising senior clinicians and/or mentoring senor clinicans supervising graduate level practitioners.

Valid Aged Care Worker Screening Check:
o Current National Police Check OR
o Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
NB: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is mandatory for Services/Facilities delivering services to NDIS clients.
o Statutory Declaration if you have been a citizen or permanent resident of a country other than Australia after turning 16.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree qualification relevant to professional discipline
- Possession of a current unrestricted Queensland Driver Licence
- Current registration with AHPRA or other relevant registration body
- Minimum five years professional experience relevant to area of practice
- Completed training additional to Bachelor’s degree relevant to area of practice
- Postgraduate qualifications relevant to area of practice (desired)
- Ability and willingness to travel within the service region
