Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office, located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday.
Fortescue’s Global Sustainability and External Affairs team works across the business and externally to develop and implement government advocacy, approvals and stakeholder engagement strategies that support operational efficiency and growth.
The team’s work includes decarbonisation, energy policy, renewable energy, electricity markets, transmission, green iron, technology and mine development.
The External Relations Adviser will support Fortescue’s government relations and policy priorities, with a particular focus on energy policy and the transition to a lower-emissions industrial base. The role will monitor policy and regulatory developments, prepare advice and support engagement with government, industry associations and other stakeholders.
The role will work closely with the External Affairs APAC team and support the Senior Manager External Affairs APAC in delivering strategic and responsive government relations activities.
