The Faculty of Medicine and Hea lth Sydney Dental School is seeking a motivated and organised Education Support Officer to join our Education Support team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative, operational, and educational support to ensure the smooth delivery of clinical teaching and assessments across the Dental program s . The role is primarily based at Westmead Hospital, with occasional work at Sydney Dental Hospital City Campus and Nepean Centre for Oral Health
You will work closely with academic staff, clinical tutors, and students, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success.
This role is campus-based and requires a minimum of four days on-site per week. Hybrid working arrangements may be discussed with your manager for the successful candidate.
As the Education Support Officer, you will:
coordinate and support clinical teaching, including timetabling, booking and preparing teaching spaces, and managing clinical tutor engagement
maintain and update educational resources, databases, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with university procedures and quality standards
build and maintain strong relationships with academic staff, clinicians, and external stakeholders, including Local Health District partners
To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive and organised professional with a strong focus on operational excellence and student support. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
