We're looking for someone with kitchen or café experience who enjoys working as part of a team. If you also have barista experience, this will be a huge advantage, as we're seeking an all-rounder who can assist with coffee making during busy periods.
This is a casual position offering competitive pay under the Restaurant Industry Award, plus superannuation. Weekend availability is essential.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Attendant, you will assist with preparing and presenting meals to a high standard while maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen. You'll work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and, if you have barista experience, you'll have the opportunity to assist on the coffee machine when required.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced café where teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present fresh food according to Stellarossa standards.
Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen.
Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment as required.
Receive, rotate, and restock kitchen supplies.
Support the café team during busy service periods.
Assist with coffee preparation and front-of-house duties if experienced.
What We're Looking For
Previous kitchen, café, or hospitality experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team during busy service periods.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
Weekend availability is essential.
Barista experience is highly desirable but not essential.
Ability to work across multiple areas of the café as an all-rounder.
