Your impact
As Warehouse Technician in the Lay Down Management team (LDM), you will play a critical role in supporting maintenance operations by ensuring the availability, accuracy, and coordination of spare parts aligned to Lay Down Manager (LDM) planning and weekly work schedules
You will contribute directly to minimising downtime, improving asset reliability, and supporting safe, efficient site operations through effective inventory and parts coordination.
As part of our team you will
Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of critical spare parts for maintenance teams -planned weekly work and shut downs.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to forecast parts requirements
Monitor and manage parts and materials, from procurement through to use and disposal
Maintain and utilise asset management systems (SAP) to track materials and equipment
Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and data
Monitor stock levels using usage trends and optimise availability
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of parts
Prepare reports on inventory and usage trends.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve reliability
Work closely with warehouse and maintenance teams in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
Prerequisites for your success in the role
Previous experience in parts, inventory, and warehouse.
Exposure to mining, heavy industry, or mobile equipment environments (highly regarded)
Proficiency in SAP or similar maintenance/inventory systems
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Forklift Licence (essential)
Ability to work in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise competing demands
Effective team collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams
High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and process adherence
