Senior Speech Pathologist
Capacity Building | Permanent part-time | 12-months FTC
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior clinician who enjoys balancing hands-on clinical practice with leadership, mentoring, and service improvement initiatives.
The Opportunity
In this role, you'll provide expert Speech Pathology services to clients with complex communication and swallowing needs while supporting and developing fellow clinicians and multidisciplinary team members.
This role is being recruited on a permanent part time basis working 38 hours per fortnight for a 12-month period.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise in the assessment and management of complex dysphagia and communication disorders.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred assessments, interventions, and outcome-focused care plans.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Mentor, supervise, and support Speech Pathologists, Therapy Assistants, students, and other team members.
- Contribute to workforce development through coaching, clinical supervision, and participation in recruitment activities.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice across the service.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, carers, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Support service delivery within the NDIS funding stream.
What you’ll bring
To be successful, you will have:
- Membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) .
- Significant clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist, including leadership and supervision responsibilities.
- Strong experience supporting clients with complex health, communication, and swallowing needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.

You will also need:
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained in the last 12 months
- A satisfactory NDIS clearance
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers License as defined by the Department of Transport WA (DoTWA)
