VEPALABS is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Officer to provide hands-on support, training and technical expertise to veterinary clinics using our point-of-care diagnostic analysers and equipment.

Job Description
As a Technical Support Officer, you will be the face of VEPALABS, working directly with veterinary practices to ensure their diagnostic equipment is operating effectively and delivering reliable results. You'll provide training, perform quality control testing, troubleshoot technical issues and support clinics both remotely and onsite.
This is a field-based role that requires regular travel throughout your region, excellent organisational skills and a passion for helping customers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Service

Provide exceptional support to veterinary clinics via phone, email, video call and onsite visits.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and software issues.

Respond promptly to customer and business requests.

Demonstrate VEPALABS products to prospective customers.

Represent VEPALABS at conferences, trade shows and industry events.
Training & Education

Deliver one-on-one and group training sessions to clinic staff.

Educate customers on analyser operation, quality control processes and equipment maintenance.

Build confidence and capability within customer teams.
Equipment & Quality Control
-
Perform routine quality control testing on diagnostic analysers.
-
Test and support VEPALABS laboratory integration platforms within clinics.

Maintain inventory of testing and QC materials.
-
Coordinate equipment returns and servicing as required.
Administration & Planning

Manage your own schedule, travel and customer visits.
-
Maintain accurate records of equipment, service calls and site visits.

Participate in an after-hours and weekend support roster (approximately 1 in 4).
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience working with veterinary diagnostic analysers and equipment.

At least 1 year of Veterinary Nursing experience or experience in blood collection/sampling.

Strong technical aptitude and confidence learning new technologies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.

Knowledge of PC hardware, networking devices, desktop and mobile applications.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
