Sarah’s Music Academy is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Piano & Guitar Tutor to join our team and take over an established teaching timetable.
This is a great opportunity for a tutor looking for consistent weekly work, with students already enrolled and ready to continue their lessons.
The Position
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Instruments: Piano & Guitar
Location: In-person at Sarah’s Music Academy
Hours: After-school and evening hours
Pay: $28–$40 per hour, based on experience
You will be taking over an existing timetable of students, meaning there is no need to source your own students. Our admin team handles bookings, payments and scheduling so you can focus on teaching.

About the Role
You will be responsible for teaching individual piano and guitar lessons, helping students develop their technique, musicianship, music theory and confidence while also incorporating songs and activities that keep lessons engaging and enjoyable.
We are looking for someone who can confidently teach both piano and guitar and is comfortable working with students of different ages and abilities.

- Is confident teaching piano and guitar
- Enjoys working with children, teens and adults
- Is friendly, patient and approachable
- Is reliable and organised
- Can work independently
- Is passionate about music and teaching
- Can commit to Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Has teaching experience (preferred, but not essential for the right candidate)
Requirements
- Right to work in Australia
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Driver licence preferred
