Group Accounting Manager (12-Month Parental Leave Contract) Melbourne or Sydney
Lead a team of 10 across Melbourne and Sydney and play a key role in delivering the financial performance of some of Australia's most iconic brands (Bonds, Bras N Things, Sheridan, Berlei)
Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, you'll take ownership of Revenue, Inventory and Expense Accounting, lead month-end reporting and financial controls, and partner with senior leaders across the business. This is an opportunity to influence decision-making, drive continuous improvement and lead a high-performing team in a complex retail environment.
What you'll bring
- CA/CPA qualification
- Strong accounting experience gained in a large corporate environment and/or Big 4 or mid-tier firm
- Financial reporting and technical accounting expertise
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a continuous improvement mindset
What you'll be doing
- Leading the Group's Revenue, Inventory and Expense Accounting portfolios
- Driving month-end reporting, financial controls and compliance activities
- Supporting executive reporting, forecasting and financial planning
- Managing internal and external audit requirements
- Leading and developing a team of finance professionals
