We're currently seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Attendants on a casual basis to join our busy back-of-house team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work and is looking to build a career in hospitality. About the Role:
As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running efficiently. Working alongside our chefs and kitchen team, you'll help maintain a clean, organised and safe environment while supporting food preparation and ensuring equipment and utensils are cleaned to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and cookware
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation and general kitchen duties
- Maintain high food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
- Assist with waste disposal, stock rotation and keeping storage areas organised
- Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Contribute to a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environment
About You:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant, Dishwasher or in a commercial kitchen is essential
- Reliable, hardworking and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a strong team-first approach
- High attention to cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
