THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager Business Services, the Governance Support Officer will be instrumental in supporting the coordination and provision of secretariat support to key governance meetings for the High-rise Redevelopment Program. The position will provide coordination and internal stakeholder support for the Housing Development branch to prepare for parliamentary enquiries, governance committees led by other branches and other branch wide governance initiatives. The role will support the Manager Business Services to ensure the Chief Development Officer is adequately briefed and prepared for committee meetings and kept informed of the status of parliamentary enquire preparations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide governance and support to the Manager Business Services and High-rise Redevelopment Program.
- Support the High-rise Redevelopment Program governance functions through the delivery of secretariat support and coordination of meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes and meeting packs and following up on actions arising from meetings.
- Regularly review key governance documents within position remit to ensure they remain fit for purpose and consistent with meeting requirements, including Terms of Reference and reporting templates.
