About Us: Perth Test and Tag Solutions is a leading provider of electrical and fire compliance testing services across Perth and its surroundings, with expanding work in regional areas. We are dedicated to ensuring safety through rigorous testing of electrical appliances, RCDs, portable fire equipment, and emergency systems.
The Role: We are seeking a diligent and skilled Electrical and Fire Compliance Technician to join our team. This role involves:
- Electrical testing and tagging of single and 3-phase appliances in compliance with ASNZS 3760/2022.
- Testing Residual Current Devices (RCD) to ASNZS 3760/2022 standards.
- Conducting thorough inspections and tests on portable fire equipment and hose reels as per AS 1851.
- Testing and maintenance of exit and emergency lighting systems.
- Testing and inspection of rigging equipment.
- Working across various locations in Perth and occasional travel within Western Australia.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Current unrestricted full Australian drivers licence
- Clean current National Police Check
- National construction induction certificate (White Card)
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing systems and procedures.
- Previous experience in technician based role (Preferred but NOT mandatory) we are seeking both experienced technicians and welcoming people new to the technician type role.
- Must be able to communicate! This role will be customer facing, new clients everyday so this is important
- Rigging experience & knowledge (Not a mandatory, just a good to have)
- Ownership of a reliable vehicle.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
