About the role
This role supports our Aged Care resident living within our Kelmscott Residential Aged Care facility on a permanent full-time basis. You’ll manage a caseload of residents and assess, plan and implement individualised treatment programs to support personal goals, needs and preferences.
Each day will bring a new challenge and opportunity to make a difference in a resident’s life. You’ll use evidence-based assessments to support and promote innovative methods of care delivery. You’ll working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure outcomes for plans and provide clinical expertise, ensuring a high-quality service to all residents. The is a part time permanent position, working 30 hours per fortnight.
About you
You’ll have a strong passion in supporting elderly residents reach their full potential and have demonstrated experience in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident care.
In addition, you will also possess:
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- Registration with AHPRA
- Adaptability and ability to deal with changing or unexpected situations
- Ability to effectively use client management and IT systems including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
