We are a modern beauty and nail salon located in the heart of Sydney CBD on Pitt Street. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, and high-quality beauty treatments.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Chinese-speaking Receptionist who can also assist with creating engaging social media content for the salon.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist clients upon arrival
- Manage appointments and bookings
- Answer phone calls, messages, and social media enquiries
- Process payments and maintain client records
- Assist with daily salon operations and cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive client experience
Social Media & Content Creation
- Capture photos and videos of treatments, salon environment, and staff
- Create Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), and WeChat content
- Film before-and-after transformations
- Assist with posting stories, reels, and promotional content
- Stay up to date with beauty and social media trends
- Help promote special offers, memberships, and new services
Requirements
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or salon experience preferred
- Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
- Basic content creation skills (video filming, photography, editing)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends is preferred
Bonus Skills
- Experience in the beauty, nail, lash, or cosmetic industry
- Experience using booking systems
- Knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or other editing apps
- Experience with Chinese social media platforms such as Xiaohongshu (RedNote)
